NOTE: As of January 1, 2024, the maximum allowable contribution to a registered Canadian political party increased to $1,725.

For tax compliance purposes, ticket purchases or donations exceeding $1,725 must be made using different transactions under different names. 

Contributions to political parties and constituency associations may only be made by individuals using their own funds.  The Elections Act Law prohibits corporations and trade unions from making political contributions.

Donations will be directed toward Melissa Lantsman and the local Thornhill Conservative Association, not the National Conservative Party.
