The last two weeks have been full of big headlines on items like the Middle East and trade with the U.S.

It's warm outside but the heat is also getting hotter for the Liberals as each passing day shows us how inept they are. No trade deal. No plan to fix the housing market. No budget. No jobs for young Canadians. No respect for Canada on the world stage. 

Even though it might be summer vacation time -- accountability doesn't take a holiday. We'll keep the pressure on Mark Carney to live up to his promises and deliver for Canadians, always.

Palestinian Statehood: A Dead Giveaway to Hamas

Mark Carney's decision to recognize Palestinian statehood isn't just a break from decades of diplomatic protocol -- it's also a reward to terrorists who hold Canadians hostage and starve their own people. 

Hamas has already said that actions like this embolden their violent, radical agenda and will lead to more days like October 7th. 

This is who Canada has chosen to support. You bet I'm outraged.

Elbows up?

Mark Carney promised us a trade deal with the U.S. by August 1st. 

Well, that was a week ago and now Canada is facing down some of the highest American tariffs in the world. 

Almost all of our allies got a trade deal -- Mark Carney couldn't. 

Jobs and investment are slipping away and prices keep climbing higher. But there's no plan from Carney to make the tariffs go away. 

So much for elbows up? 

Choose Dignity

MP Andrew Lawton almost died by suicide 15 years ago. 

If MAID was available then, he says he would have taken it. 

Andrew's sponsoring Bill C-218, the Right to Recover Act. This would remove MAID eligibility for those suffering solely from mental illness and instead promote dignity and recovery. 

Andrew's launched the I Got Better Campaign to show that it's possible for people with mental illness to get better.

What are they Hiding?

My colleague Michelle Rempel Garner just exposed the Liberal government for keeping its immigration numbers a secret. 

They promised to bring down immigration to Canada but all signs say that immigration levels are far too high.

If the government's going to keep its promises -- then why won't they come clean about how many people are coming here?
